Sports Toto: games, draws and results

Sports Toto is one of the three big licensed 4D operators in Malaysia, and this guide covers what it actually offers: the 4D, 5D and 6D games, Toto 4D Jackpot, Supreme Toto 6/58 and Star Toto 6/50, the usual draw days, how the prize tiers work, and how to check Sports Toto results and claim a win without any hassle.

What games does Sports Toto offer?

Sports Toto, run by the Berjaya group, is best known for its 4D game, but the product list is wider than most casual players realise. The main games are:

If you are new to any of these formats, our how to play page walks through bet slips, bet types and the minimum RM1 stake step by step.

Sports Toto draw schedule

Sports Toto draws follow the same rhythm as the other major Malaysian operators. Regular draws run on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at about 7:00 pm Malaysia time, with special draws added on selected Tuesdays and announced in advance. If you want the full picture across every operator, including the daily-draw brands, see our draw schedule page.

Results are published in the evening on draw days. Sports Toto's official site and app are the fastest sources, and the same numbers go up at outlets shortly after. Our check result page explains the reliable ways to verify a number and the warning signs of fake result sites.

Bet types: Big, Small, iBox and Roll

Two bet types do most of the work in 4D:

On top of that you have iBox / Box, which covers every permutation of your four digits. The price depends on how many permutations your number has — 24, 12, 6 or 4 — and any prize won is divided by that same number. Roll (R) lets you replace one digit with all ten options for RM10. Magnum also offers Mbox, which is a Magnum-specific variant rather than a Sports Toto product.

Prize tiers at a glance

Payouts are quoted per RM1 stake. The table below shows the typical structure shared by the major operators, including Sports Toto.

PrizeBig bet (per RM1)Small bet (per RM1)
1st prizeRM2,500RM3,500
2nd prizeRM1,000RM2,000
3rd prizeRM500RM1,000
SpecialRM180—
ConsolationRM60—

So a RM1 Big bet on the 1st prize pays RM2,500, while the same RM1 on a Small bet pays RM3,500 — the trade-off being that Small only covers three prizes instead of 23. iBox winnings are divided by the number of permutations. For a fuller breakdown across games and operators, see our prizes page.

Practical tip: the odds of any specific 4-digit number landing as 1st prize are 1 in 10,000, and about 23 in 10,000 for any of the 23 Big-bet prizes. No app, formula or "prediction" seller changes those numbers — treat anyone promising otherwise as a red flag.

How to claim a Sports Toto win

Smaller prizes — up to a few hundred ringgit — can be collected at any outlet. Larger amounts have to be claimed at the operator's regional or head office, and you will need your IC plus the original ticket. Tickets stay valid for 6 months from the draw date, so there is no rush, but there is also no reason to sit on one.

Malaysian lottery winnings are not subject to personal income tax. Players must be 21 or older at licensed operators, and by law only non-Muslims may buy or claim. Our claim guide covers the documents, office locations and what to do if a ticket is damaged.

One more thing worth knowing: licensed Malaysian operators sell only through physical outlets. Online 4D is offered by international platforms using local payment methods such as bank transfer and FPX, Touch 'n Go, DuitNow and crypto. If you go that route, play with money you can afford to lose. Please play responsibly — 21+.
